Forest House

Forest House — a single-storey residential project with a total area of 189 sq.m., designed as a modern retreat immersed in nature.
The floor plan is organized in a T-shaped layout, dividing the house into two functional zones.

The public zone features an open, light-filled kitchen–living room with a fireplace, complemented by a pantry and a corridor — altogether 79 sq.m. This space serves as the social heart of the home, connecting interior comfort with the surrounding landscape.

The private wing, totaling 110 sq.m., includes three thoughtfully planned bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dedicated home office.

A 51 sq.m. open terrace extends the living area outdoors, creating a seamless transition between architecture and forest views — ideal for relaxation and social gatherings.

Architecturally, the house is conceived in a minimalist Scandinavian style. The façade combines refined grey exterior plaster with dark, charred thermo-treated wooden planks, creating a calm and natural material palette that blends with the forest environment.

The building rests on a 35 cm insulated reinforced concrete slab foundation, ensuring durability and energy efficiency. Exterior walls are constructed from 40 cm ceramic blocks, offering excellent thermal performance. The flat roof with a subtle parapet emphasizes the clean, modern silhouette of the house.
